Hence, as part of our commitment to meeting your expectations, we have established a privacy policy for the users of our web pages. This policy formalizes our commitment to the protection and correct use of user and customer data that we may handle.

In accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection, when using electronic means, Silkeborg will consider that you have properly given your consent or that you have read this Policy, when you have decided to “click”, “touch”, or “tap”, or other similar interactions when asked for your acceptance of these terms applicable to the processing of your personal data in the forms of this website.

 

1. The information that we collect through our website.

We only collect personal data that you wish to provide to us or that is necessary for us to provide you with, and improve, our products and services, and for the purposes described in point 3 of this Policy and that you freely accept. We collect personal information such as: full name, telephone number, email address; and/or direct institutional information such as: Single Taxpayer Registry Number, Corporate Name, company address, position, telephone number.

 

2. We keep your information secure.

You can rely on Silkeborg to have taken all necessary technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security and confidentiality of your personal information, and to prevent any misuse, loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties to this information, by employing appropriate means to counteract them.

 

3. Purposes of the processing of your personal data

The personal data that you provide through the “Contact” form on the Silkeborg website will be processed for the following purposes: i) to respond to queries, requests or requirements, complaints or claims made through this form. In this case, we will store your personal data for the period necessary to meet your request, plus 3 months. This information will be stored in the personal data bank called “Website users”. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

The personal data that you provide to make purchases on our Silkeborg website will be processed for the following purposes: i) Registering you as a user of our platform, where you can keep your search and purchase history; (ii) Processing and executing purchase orders; (iii) Establishing a communication channel to coordinate the shipment of purchased products; (iv) Collection actions; and, v) Responding with complaints and claims. In this case, we will store your personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship, plus 10 years. This information will be stored in the personal data bank called “Customers”.

If you expressly authorize us, we will use your data to: i) Send you information or advertising about our products; (ii) Invite you to participate in our contests, among other activities or events; and, iii) Invite you to complete our satisfaction surveys. In this case, we will store your personal data for an indefinite period of time or until you decide to revoke this authorization. This information will be stored in the personal data bank called “Customers”.

The marking that you have read and that you accept these conditions of processing is mandatory to use the web forms indicated above, except for the authorization for marketing referral and commercial prospecting, which is optional.

 

4. Entrustment and Transfer

We may provide your personal data to third parties (such as our business partners, website administrators and social media account managers, courier services, transportation, etc.), who help us maintain and administrate this or other websites (including but not limited to the website and social media accounts that Silkeborg maintains), and to carry out the activities necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes described above for which you have consented to the processing of your personal data. It is possible that these third parties are located in a territory other than the national territory.

We may also provide your personal data to Public Administration bodies and competent authorities if we are required to do so by virtue of obligations established by law. In some cases, we must also provide your personal information to the aforementioned entities for the purpose of the conduct of a legal, judicial and/or administrative process, in accordance with the law.

You can revoke your consent or exercise your rights as the owner of personal data (access, rectification, cancellation, opposition, information or revocation), free of charge. In the event that you should consider that your rights have not been duly addressed, you can file a complaint with the National Data Protection Authority through its website: https://www.gob.pe/9271-denunciar-el-mal-uso-de-datos-personales

 

6. Modifications to this Privacy Policy.

For the purposes of the continuous improvement of our processes, Silkeborg may make modifications and corrections to this Privacy Policy, to which you give your consent.
